Maya Rudolph is a brilliant comedic actor who has been making us laugh since she joined SNL in 2000. From the ‘sweater weather’ skit to the film ‘Bridesmaids’, her incredible characters are unforgettable. She comes from a musical family, her mother is African American singer-songwriter Minnie Riperton and her father is composer and “pretty adorable Jew’ Richard Rudolph. Maya has been involved in music as well, including a Prince tribute band, called Princess. She’s recently started a production company with BFF (and fellow Jew!) Natasha Lyonne. We can’t wait to see what they will do!
